Web Filtering Proxy
Notice Description
BackgroundWrexham CBC currently have an on premise legacy web filtering proxy solution which is contracted to end early 2024. To be able to filter web traffic currently, devices need to be connected to the corporate network.We are therefore looking to replace this solution with a cloud web filtering proxy which will give increased flexibility and security to our remotely deployed devices.We have approx. 2300 desktop/laptop devices (Windows), 280 Servers and 2000 mobile devices (IOS/Android).Wrexham CBC previously engaged the market for a combined Email and Web filtering solution. The Email filtering element of the requirement has now been fulfilled so WCBC are only looking for Web Filtering proposals at this time.Requirements- Must be a cloud based solution with no reliance on any on premise infrastructure- There is requirement to provide the public with loan devices; either PC's or mobile devices. These devices won't be connected to the corporate domain or network. The solution must be able to be able provide web filtering for these devices- Ideally traffic can be directed to the cloud service in a number of ways:- Endpoint Software: Supporting Windows/IOS/Android- A browser PAC (proxy auto-config) file- Firewall Redirection- IPsec or GRE Tunnelling- Should be able integrate with Azure AD- Must be capable of https inspection- Be able to provide a set of standard web filtering settings and provide differing levels of access for users and departments based on AD group membership- Must be have fast and granular reporting- Easy and intuitive administration interface- Must provide web security against malicious threats including real-time analysis- Assistance with configuration, deployment and migration from legacy solutionNOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=134434.
