Notice Description

Cardiff University are looking to procure Laboratory-based partial discharge measurement hardware as part of a research project.Commercial partial discharge measurement and calibration system. The system should have the following features:- Capable of calibrated laboratory based PD measurement according to IEC60270, and IEC60437.- 10-30 MHz PD bandwidth or better- >100 MS/s PD sampling rate- Capable of charge calibration down to 1 pC- < 5 ns event resolution- Optical isolation between measurement system and receiver unit / PC- Option of battery powered measurement unit to avoid ground interference- Have the capability to measure PD from multiple sensors including UHF- Plot data in PDPD formats and save / export this data in various formats (.txt, .csv, etc)- Filter PD data by frequency content and plot in seperate PDPD plots- Save and export raw PD data (time series) for post-processing in external software such as MATLAB.
