Framework for Specialist Forms of Carriageway and Footway Surface Treatments
Notice Description
This Invitation to Tender (the ITT) relates to a framework (the Framework) for Specialist Forms of Carriageway and Footway Surface Treatments under which Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) intends to deliver highways maintenance and highways capital improvement works up to the value of PS30,000 per contract across the Authority's respective administrative area (the Contract Area).WCBC invites tender submissions (each a Tender) from suitably experienced and qualified contractors (each a Contractor) in connection with the Framework. Once operational, the Framework will be used by WCBC to award individual contracts/work orders.The Framework will primarily be used to deliver within the designated area. The projects will involve the design, and delivery of the Authorities surface treatment programme for carriageways and footways within Wrexham County Borough.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=136385. (WA Ref:136385)Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority's economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:In line with its vision, values and corporate objectives WCBC aims to contribute to the development of the local economy and maximise community regeneration through its procurement activity. Please refer to Appendix E - Community Benefits attached to this ITT. Please note that, for this Framework, community benefits are a hybrid approach of both core and non-core requirements.The buyer considers that this contract is suitable for consortia bidding.
