Notice Title

Evaluation of North Wales Supported Employment Model for people with learning disabilities

Notice Description

North Wales Together: seamless services for people with learning disabilities invites submissions for a three-year independent evaluation of the North Wales Supported Employment Model for people with learning disabilities. The Supported Employment Model is being implemented within all six local authority social work services for people with learning disabilities from the 1st of April 2024 to 31st March 2027. The model has been developed to respond to the North Wales Supported Employment Strategy for people with learning disabilities and is the primary way the strategy will be implemented across the region using a sub-regional approach. The aim of the model is to establish access to paid employment as new care pathway within these services and thereby provide individuals with learning disabilities equal opportunity to be in paid employment based on informed choice. The evaluation will be a key piece in assessing the effectiveness, impact and economic viability of the model and the business case for mainstreaming. We require an evaluator with expertise in the field of supported employment especially for people with learning disabilities and who can deliver on the required methodologies set out in the service specification.
