Notice Description

The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 build on the obligation under the Equality Act 2010, requiring public sector organisations to ensure websites and applications are accessible. Currently in order to meet the requirements websites/apps:- will need to meet WCAG v2.2 AA; and- publish an accessibility statement that explains how accessible the website or mobile app is.The Welsh Government have a number of sites/services that fall within the regulations, whilst new services are being developed.The aim of this contract is to allow allow service owners throughout Welsh Government to:- assess their products against the latest accessibility standards and identify what needs to be done in order for them to become compliant; and- access ongoing advice and support.
