This is a refresh of survey equipment to place our field archaeology research capacity at the forefront ofrapidly developing digital techniques including robotic totals stations and survey grade GNSS positioning.Archaeological fieldwork is the cornerstone of research in the discipline and requires systematic geospatialsurveying. Advances in technology mean that this refresh in equipment is necessary so that we are at thecutting edge of industry practice and remain competitive. Currently, we have outdated survey equipment toconduct in-field Archaeological research and training.
