Purchase of Bruker Invenio R1 FTIR which will be used for measurement of the surface functional groups of diamond nanoparticle surfaces.University already has 3 Bruker systems and the detectors can thus be shared between instruments. Invenio R1 FTIR from another supplier will not be compatible with equipment already in use within the department.
