The Local Data Resource is a suite of tightly coupled resources that underpin and enable all digital transformation. It includes the healthcare integration engine (Mirth), enterprise messaging, API management, identity access management, common demographics service, care data repository (CDR), data flows, data cataloguing and auditing.The LDR is a strategic initiative to help transform health and care in Cardiff and Vale and across the Digital Care Region through a more connected and collaborative use of data. The LDR will enable users to have access to the right data and tools, at the right time, to make well-informed decisions.
Procurement Information
The local data resource fucntional capability can only be provided by a sole supplier. Hence, the decision to single award the contract to continue vital services that improve the connectivity interoperability of clinical systems across the Health Board.
