Notice Description

Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) is looking to engage with the market to better understand the existing marketplace for the supply and install of carpets/flooring and window coverings (curtains and blinds). This information will be used to inform procurement decisions going forward with the possibility of a full tender exercise in the future.The carpet/floor coverings will primarily be installed at domestic properties, with roughly 250 voids a year requiring carpet renewal/replacement. In addition to this, the Council manages a number of properties that are utilised for temporary accommodation, with these properties requiring frequent carpet/flooring and window covering renewals due to their high usage.The Council is currently considering a solution consisting of multiple suppliers that would cover:* Supply and / or install of carpets/flooring and any associated underlay* Supply and / or install of window coverings, i.e. curtains and blindsIf your organisation is capable and interested in providing the Council with a service that meets any of the above requirements, please email procurement@wrexham.gov.uk by 01/04/2024 with details of your offering/capabilities.
