EOI - Independent Foster Carer Review Chair
Notice Description
Why an Independent Chair? Historically, the Local Authority has externally commissioned this service to maintain the independent status of the Reviews. This approach ensures quality reviewing which, due to its independence from the Local Authority, better serves children and families and introduces more challenge.Interested providers are invited to submit their expression of interest, outlining relevant experience and suitability for the role. Please note that all applications will be treated with the strictest confidence.Role Responsibilities:Chair approximately 170 review meetings per year.Ensure that review meetings are booked up to one year in advance.Prioritise reviews and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.Maintain consistency across all annual reviews and identify any themes or issues as they arise.Consult with the carer, their family, other professionals, and the children/young people in their care toensure a holistic review of the carer's contribution to achieving positive outcomes for Children LookedAfter.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=140382.
