Notice Description

In 2023 the Deputy Minister for Social Partnership set out the steps in our work to ban conversion practices which included expanding support services for survivors of conversion practices. Wales needs a support service for victims and survivors of these harmful and traumatic practices. The Service will be the first of its kind, in Wales.This service will need to provide:* caseworkers and advocacy services to meet the needs of survivors of conversion practices;* a 1-1 counselling service;* to signpost to existing support programmes, which aim to build trust, promote healthy relationships, increase visibility and/or a connection with LGBTQ+ communities.
