Bangor University is hoping to obtain funding from the North Wales Growth Deal to expand its Centre of Environmental Biotechnology agreement. This project will explore the use of biological processes as low carbon alternatives to products and industrial manufacturing processes.Part of the proposed funding will be used to refurbish space at Henfaes Research Centre (Abergwyngregyn) to create a new workshop housing a scale-up facility, enhanced lab facilities and an upgraded business facing area. The University is seeking a contractor who can undertake these works.
