The Vale of Glamorgan Council ("the Council") requires a Complex Needs Hostel Service.

Lot 1

The Ty Newydd project is a 6-unit temporary supported accommodation located in Barry aimed at providing Housing related support to young and vulnerable people living in the Vale of Glamorgan. The project is manned 24 hours a day and maximum length of service is up to two years per service user. The project was first established in August 2014. The Contract is for 3 plus 1 plus 1 years and the tender process will include an interview / presentation. The Council's view is that there are TUPE implications for this contract. Bidders must obtain their own legal advice regarding this matter,. The Support Provider is expected to enter into a Management agreement with United Welsh Housing Association. Management functions are ineligible for Supporting People however they may be claimed through Housing Benefit (depending on eligibility)

Renewal: Contract term is three (3) years with the options to extend for a further one (1) plus one (1). Maximum five (5) years
