Notice Description

The Welsh Government have a requirement for a supplier or suppliers to design 132kV bays within an existing National Grid Electricity Transmission 132kV substation. The substation is indoor but using air insulated switchgear.The requirement is to provide design services to upgrade / re-commission 2no existing outgoing bays at the National Grid Electricity Transmission 132kV substation. Once operational, these bays would be the ownership of the Welsh Government.Design services will be required for the following:- Bespoke design and replacement of busbar isolators- Health check / refurbishment of existing dead tank Circuit Breakers- Design of new feeder protection and integration with existing busbar protection- Cable Sealing End structures- Multicore wiring from circuit breakers to new protection panels- New voltage transformersPlease confirm by email to robert.stokes@burroughs.co.uk by Friday 17/05/2024 if you are interesting in participating in a future procurement.Please note non-participation in this market engagement exercise will not preclude any potential suppliers from participating in any formal procurement process that may follow.Please note - These sessions will be for Welsh Government information only.
