Pre-Market Engagement - Supply and Installation of Roof Mounted PV Systems throughout NPT
Notice Description
This PIN is a Pre-Market Engagement issued by Tai Tarian to encourage contractors to register and bid for an anticipated contract for the supply and installation of roof mounted PV systems.Tai Tarian is a not-for-profit Registered Social Landlord that was set up in March 2011 to manage, maintain and improve over 9,000 properties spread throughout the Neath Port Talbot County Borough.Tai Tarian is seeking to appoint multiple contractors (3-4) to supply and install circa 150 (in total) individual roof mounted photovoltaic arrays and associated works throughout Neath Port Talbot.The appointed contractors will need to be MCS certified, and the products used must be MCS accredited. We also require the successful contractors to undertake the Retrofit assessment and lodgement with Trustmark as mandated as part of the Welsh Government's Optimised Retrofit Programme (ORP) grant funding.It is anticipated that the overall value of the contracts awarded will be in the region of 750k GBP, which may be increased further subject to allocation of ORP grant funding.Interested contractors are invited to attend a 'Meet the Buyer' session, held on the morning of Monday 3rd June 2024 at Tai Tarian's head office, Ty Gwyn.The session will allow interested contractors the opportunity to meet with Tai Tarian's representatives to gain an understanding of our requirements. In addition to this, Tai Tarian hopes that by providing this opportunity, contractors can demonstrate what is currently possible in the market and to help confirm our requirements moving forward.For example, we are asking for interested contractors to tell us:- What makes a contract attractive to them.- Their experience of undertaking similar supply and installation of PV contracts.- Their experience of working under NHF Schedule of Rates, Specifications and Form of Contract.- Lessons learnt from previous contracts.- Why they want to work with Tai Tarian.- Innovative ways of working (doing things differently).- Opportunities to reduce the environmental impact of our contracts and material specification choices.To register your interest in attending please email procurement@taitarian.co.ukThe deadline to register is 12PM Friday 31st May 2024.Please note that the 'Meet the Buyer' session will only be carried out on this morning and that time slots will be allocated on a first come first served basis, when all slots are filled, we will be unable to extend this session further.Please note that recording an interest is voluntary and potential tenderers will not be advantaged or disadvantaged through participation in the 'Meet the Buyer' event and any discussions held will not form part of any formal tender process.
