Drain Clearance and Associated Drainage Repairs Works

Notice Description

Tai Tarian is seeking to appoint a single contractor (Provider) to carry out drain clearance including CCTV drain inspection, high pressure water jetting and associated drainage repairs works, to support Tai Tarian in the delivery of its repairs and maintenance programme.The scope of this Contract comprises of (but not limited to):- Unblocking of drains via manholes.- High pressure water jetting.- CCTV drain survey and inspections including a printed and/or electronic report of findings- Advise the most effective solution to repair structurally damaged drains, a schedule of works, and carry out the repair works as instructed by Tai Tarian.- A weekly consolidated report for every completed job including the property address, order number and reasons for the cause of any blockages.- A 24 hours a day, 365 days a year response, with no premium call-out, overtime or weekend working charge.All works to be carried out in domestic properties throughout Neath Port Talbot County Borough, in accordance with the Specification (Appendix 1) and Preliminaries (Appendix 4), for the Provider's submitted rates set out in the Price Framework (Appendix 2A) based on the NHF Schedule of Rates for Responsive Maintenance and Void Property Works Version 8 (Appendix 2B).NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=143251.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:It's Tai Tarian's intention that the delivery of the Contract assists in the achievement of their commitment towards community benefits as outlined in Tai Tarian's Community Benefits Policy. Therefore, as a minimum requirement, Tenderers will have to agree that community benefits will become part of the Contract, if a Tenderer does not agree to this, then the Tenderer will be rejected.It is a contract condition that the Provider delivers community benefits as part of this Contract.The buyer considers that this contract is suitable for consortia bidding.
