Notice Description

The Works comprise briefly of the removal and replacement of approx. 10-metre length of failed wall and temporary works that comprises the temporary concrete bag wall. Trench sheet scour protection is to be installed. 'Free issue' 3m long GU16 trench sheets will be provided. Existing walling masonry is to be recovered from the river bed and re-used. Supplementary masonry is to be mixed/blended to re-face the new wall and construct a new parapet wall. Highway surfacing reinstatement will also be completed.
