Notice Description

This speculative notice is being issued by the Welsh Government Commercial Delivery (WGCD), who deliver national collaborative agreements for the Welsh public sector.The WGCD are looking to appoint a provider who can undertake supply chain monitoring and associated remedial action on its new IT Products and Service Framework (which is due to go live in July 2025) as part of their commitment to delivering its global well-being objectives via socially responsible procurement.The scope of the contract will include but not be limited to:1) Work with the WGCD to support continued Intergration of human rights into the procurement process2) Work with the WGCD and its IT Products and Services Framework suppliers to identify risks of human rights abuses in the supply chain.3) Provide the WGCD with independent evidence on risks and violations in its IT Framework supply chain4) Purse remedy for human rights abuse directly within the WGCD IT Framework supply chain5) Support the WGCD and its public customer customers to exercise collective leverage and promote compliance with core labour standards and legal obligations.6) Engage and support workers in the WGCD IT Framework supply chain to educate, organise and advocate for themselves in relation to their rights.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=143870.
