Co-Location Data Centre Services
Notice Description
The University has conducted a review into alternative Data Centre service delivery models. This review has included the option to use a colocation data centre facility where the University would host their IT infrastructure within a Data Centre owned by a 3rd party. The 3rd party are responsible for providing all mechanical, electrical, and fixed IT infrastructure, which also extends to the provision of staff resource to manage this environment, with monitoring for the equipment, local environment, and a 24 x 7 support service all provided under the terms of the Colocation contract.The procurement route was via a national framework (SSSNA Lot 5) Ref: 581593-2021
