Notice Description

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust are acting on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board who are seeking to establish a contract to appoint a Civil and Structural Engineer to undertake a condition survey of the existing roofs to tower blocks 1 and 2, with link blocks 4, 5 and 6 at UHW. Subject to the findings of the report and the levels of corrosion identified, the designers will be expected to provide a number of shortlisted options outlining all the advantages and disadvantages with associated cost estimates, so CAVUHB can make an informed decision on their preferred choice of strategy to progress.The designers will undertake all the necessary surveys of the existing roof.
