The Wales and Africa small grants scheme is a flagship initiative of the Welsh Government's Wales and Africa programme. The scheme enables community groups and organisations in Wales to access funding for small-scale projects that contribute to Wales' delivery of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and deliver mutual benefits to Wales and Africa. The scheme recognises the contribution of Welsh groups and organisations towards tackling global poverty through the mutually beneficial links the Welsh Government have been supporting over the past 18 years.
