Contract for Fire stopping/sealing at Griffith John Street Flats
Notice Description
Swansea Council intends to appoint a third party accredited company to carry out the firestopping / sealing at the 3 blocks in Griffith John street. This will be carried out on completion of our in house Electrical rewire of the communal areas across the 3 blocks.The third party accredited contractor will be required to fire seal/stop all holes made when removing the existing system and also the holes made when rewiring the communal areas at Griffith John Street Blocks 1-3. The rewiring is to be carried out by Swansea council, removal of existing system is to be carried out by Swansea council on completion of new install. Provisional Quantities/sizes of holes will be stated in Section 2 - price list.All drilling of holes and making good of holes through any compartmentation shall be fire sealed. The holes shall be clearly identified with a unique serial number per hole, the holes shall be identified on a drawing along with the serial number and a photo of the hole [sealed], this work shall be carried out by an accredited third party.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. You can now access any attachments by clicking the "Settings and Buyer Attachments" in the "Actions" box.3. Responding to the invitation to tender:-- You can now choose to "Reply" or "Reject" (please give a reason if rejecting).-- You can now use the "Messages" function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification.-- Note the deadline for completion, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the ITT.-- There may be a mixture of online and offline actions for you to perform (there is detailed online help available).If you require any further assistance use the online help.
