Notice Title
Managing Llechi Cymru's Safety Messaging Campaign
Notice Description
The purpose of this commission is to lead a bilingual (Welsh and English) safety messaging campaign on behalf of Llechi Cymru. The Slate Landscape of Northwest Wales World Heritage Site is undoubtedly fascinating, but by its very nature it can be remote, dangerous and challenging. A significant proportion of the landscape is privately owned and some of this is on land where public access is not permitted. Trespassing is a problem, as well as visitors arriving without proper knowledge, skills and equipment. It is important to try to mitigate any adverse side effects that the WHS designation has on landowners, and of course, it is vital that people enjoy the WHS in a way that is safe.
