Monmouthshire Housing Association Limited - External Works Framework 2025
Notice Description
PN 25-26 - 1 - External Works Framework - appointment of a maximum of up to 4 (four) general building works contractors to enter into a framework agreement. The works will consist of a range of external works and estate upgrade works for the supply, renewal, repair and removal of hard standings, dropped kerbs, garden and drive gates, all fencing types, boundary walls, ramps, steps, paths, tarmac areas, roads, car parking areas, kerbs and other works as described in the schedule of rates. The work will take place across various sites within MHA geographical areas.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:The social value programme covers:Recruitment & Training of economically inactive peoplePromoting Equality in the Work placeOpening up opportunities for small organisations in Wale, such as SME, Third Sector organisations and supported BusinessesEnsuring that disadvantaged groups are represented in the supply chain through working with these smaller organisations.Making a positive impact on the EnvironmentContributing to the local community in terms of education, regeneration and community engagement.IF A FIXED PERCENTAGE For contracts with an annual value of PS0 - PS1,000,000: The tenderer will be required to contribute 0.5% of their contract value towards the social value fund. Monmouthshire Housing Association will invoice the 0.5% for the social value fund on an annual basis against the value of contract spend for that year.IF SOCIAL VALUE IS TO BE ASSESSED: The tenderer is required to complete the social value matrix which will form part of the assessment criteria for awarding the tender.Additionally there is an opportunity for the tenderer to support the social value offering (proportionate to the value of the contract):Provide employment, apprenticeship, work experience and training opportunities to unemployed residents and local community members as requested by Monmouthshire Housing Association. This would focus specifically on local unemployed people.Support community based projects approved by the Monmouthshire Housing Association's staff, supporting local need.Provide ideas and suggestions for where Monmouthshire Housing Association can intervene to support the local area.A meeting will be held prior to contract in which the successful tenderer will confirm how they will meet the social value requirements and the timescales for doing so.
