The Fens Peatland Restoration Works at Penhesgyn Waste Facility
Notice Description
To facilitate the retainment of water on approximately 10% of peat fen at Penhesgyn Landfill by opening an existing ditch, creating a series of wildlife pools, installing shuttering around part of the peatland boundary, and creating a headwall to regulate water flow. Water will be pumped back into the fen using solar pumps to aid rewetting.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=157813.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
