Port of Mostyn - Heavy Lift pad
Notice Description
The Port of Mostyn is looking to develop a new Heavy Lift facility on its existing quay to enable large cranes (300-3000 Tonne Capacity) to operate on the quay.This will allow the port to offer services for the import and export of heavy items associated with the offshore wind and other industries, allowing the port to continue to be at the forefront of the logistics hubs in the Irish Sea Area and to build on it's existing portfolio of successful windfarm developments and service facilities supported over the previous 25 years.The proposed facility is a 25 x 20 metre heavy lift pad formed of reinforced concrete founded on some 30 x 500-600 tonne capacity piles.Further information including a drawing can be found in the Speculative Notice pdf attached to this notice.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=158661.
