Cardiology ECG Digital Archive
Notice Description
Hywel Dda University Health Board's (HDUHB) Cardiology Services, with the support of the Digital Informatics Directorate have awarded a contract for a new Cardiology Information System, MUSE, for electrocardiogram (ECG) diagnostics which can be utilised across the Health Board. The platform integrates, manages, and analyses cardiac data to streamline workflows, improve diagnostic accuracy, and ensure secure access to patient ECG information. This requirement will provide an upgrade on current functionality as at the moment 12-lead ECGs are printed on thermal paper which fade over time and are stored in physical patient notes.The requirement includes a 5 year point of sale (POS) service contract.The contract has been awarded via the NHS Supply Chain (NHSSC) Cardiac Diagnostics Equipment, Technologies and Related Equipment and Services Framework Agreement (2022/S 000-000127) which provides a compliant route to market.
