The proposed works consist of the removal of the slate roof covering and replacement with concrete interlocking tiles to the three-storey mid-terraced tenement block above the privately-owned properties at 32,34 (C,D,G,H), 36 Calder Street, Coatbridge.

The proposed works consist of the removal of the slate roof covering and replacement with concrete interlocking tiles to the three-storey mid-terraced tenement block above the privately-owned properties at 32,34 (C,D,G,H), 36 Calder Street, Coatbridge. The works shall entail cleaning / decontamination work to the roof-space and the undertaking of rot eradication work and structural timber replacement. Associated works comprise the removal and replacement of timber fascias and soffits, stone mullion and window renewal; the renewal of all rainwater and foul water drainage pipes and the removal and recoating of render to rear stairwells and chimneys. The Economic Operator shall take account of the requirement to provide and maintain pedestrian access at the footpath / walkway below any scaffolding provided in connection with the works. Access shall be ensured at all times to owners / occupiers of the flats and shops and to members of the general public. The Economic Operator will be responsible for providing all insurances and related costs.
