Notice Description

North Lanarkshire Council wishes to establish a contract for the provision of servicing & maintenance support to cover the Council's BEMS (Building Energy Management Systems) network to include 80 existing systems across the North Lanarkshire Council Estate including North Lanarkshire Leisure properties and a further 58 new systems proposed over the contract term. The service will include scheduled on-site maintenance visits and 24/7 off-site response and support. The Council currently has BEMS (Building Energy Management Systems) installed in 80 locations across its property portfolio including schools, office accommodation, community and leisure centres. The primary function of the BEMS is to facilitate efficient control and monitoring of building mechanical and electrical services via a remote hub thereby delivering energy savings whilst maintaining the optimum environment for building occupants.

The service will include scheduled on-site maintenance visits and 24/7 off-site response and support. The primary function of the BEMS is to facilitate efficient control and monitoring of building mechanical and electrical services via a remote hub thereby delivering energy savings whilst maintaining the optimum environment for building occupants. It is intended that the contract duration will be 3 years plus a 1 year extension option. The anticipated spend throughout the duration of the contract will be between 544000GBP - 741000GBP (including the 1 year extension).. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
