Notice Description
The work comprises the routine cleaning of gutters and associated minor roofing repair works for a five year period commencing 1st November 2016 until 31st October 2021. Additional properties may also be incorporated into the Contract at the Association's discretion. Also, through 'Right to Buy' Legislation, some properties may be omitted from the contract. The Contractor will not be compensated for any reduction or addition in the number of houses in the contract.

The work comprise the routine cleaning of gutters and associated minor roofing repair works for a five year period. Additional properties may also be incorporated into the Contract at the Association's discretion. Also, through 'Right to Buy' Legislation, some properties may be omitted from the contract. The minor repair works will be instructed at the Client's discretion and no guarantees are given by the client organisations as to the extent of work that may be instructed. The Client also reserves the right to instruct others to carry out any such reactive roofing repair works. The Contractor will be required to provide the Association with a written record of when works are completed to all properties. This record shall be accompanied with 'before and after' photographs of the gutters at each address and shall be taken, and submitted by, the Contractor along with each monthly application for payment.

"description": "This Procurement will be conducted through the use of the Open Procedure. All queries about this procurement must be made via the Public Contracts (Scotland) Portal. The Process to be applied is: - Statements including the specific requirements can be found within III.1.1, III.1.2 and III.1.3 of the Contract Notice. - Bidder's must pass the minimum standards sections of the ESPD (Scotland). Part III. and Section B of Part IV will be scored on a pass/fail basis, and Section C of Part IV of the ESPD (Scotland) will be scored in the following way: 0 - Unacceptable. Nil or inadequate response. Fails to demonstrate previous experience/capacity/capability relevant to this criterion. 1 - Poor. Response is partially relevant but generally poor. The response shows some elements of relevance to the criterion but contains insufficient/limited detail or explanation to demonstrate previous relevant experience/capacity/capability. 2 - Acceptable.Response is relevant and acceptable. Either no answer is given or the Tenderer's proposals in that area completely fail to meet the Employer's requirements in the area being measured or do not answer the question raised. 5 Satisfactory. Meets the Employer's requirements in the area being measured in the majority of aspects but fails in some fundamental aspects so that there will be only satisfactory arrangements for the Works. 10 Excellent. Meets all the Employer's requirements in the area being measured in accordance with the Contract Documents so that the Works will be delivered in an excellent way that will be highly responsive to the needs of Tenants, the Employer and other stakeholders.
