Notice Description

The Service is to provide service users with supported accommodation support under the following areas (i) young persons (ii) multiple needs and (iii) continuing support in either Council or Provider properties and (iv) tenancy support services in service users own home or other locations, as required, for a period of 3 years from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2020, with the option to extend for a further 12 months.

Lot Information

Supported Accommodation - Young Persons

Accommodation based and outreach housing support services to Service Users aged 16-25 (with priority being given to 16-21) who are homeless or at risk of becoming homelessness. The support hours to be delivered per week is estimated at 170 hours; however this may vary (+ or - hours) throughout the lifetime of the Contract, depending on the number of referrals.

Supported Accommodation - Multiple Needs

Accommodation based and outreach housing support services to Service Users over the age of 16 with multiple interconnected social and health needs that are at risk of becoming homeless again or who are homeless again and requiring temporary accommodation or have recently experienced homelessness again so as to enable them to obtain and/or maintain a home. The support hours to be delivered per week is estimated at 120 hours; however this may vary (+ or - hours) throughout the lifetime of the Contract, depending on the number of referrals.

Supported Accommodation - Continuing Support

Accommodation based and outreach housing support services to Service Users who are 16 years and older. The Service will be provided to single people, couples and familie who are likely to face recurrent difficulties with maintaining a home. The support hours to be delivered per week is estimated at 190 hours; however this may vary (+ or - hours) throughout the lifetime of the Contract, depending on the number of referrals.

Tenancy Support

A visiting housing support to Service Users at risk of becoming homeless or have recently experienced homelessness so as to enable them to avoid a housing crisis and maintain a home. Support will be provided on a short term basis to promote independence and will work towards ensuring that Service Users develop the skills to maintain their home without support. The support hours to be delivered per week may vary (+ or - hours) throughout the lifetime of the Contract, depending on the number of referrals.
