Classroom-based delivery knowledge and skills, requirements for the relevant group award. MA matched to a real world employment opportunity within a creative industries music organization. Employability in the Creative (music) Industries Based around the SQA level 4 employability award (G9CY44) integrated with a level 6 Music Management unit (F8LG12) Introduction to recording techniques and recording studio employability skills. Based around an Edexcel Subsidiary diploma in Music Technology (production strand, SCQF level 6). This requirement was published as a PIN on 16/05/2016 to ascertain market capacity and capability.

Procurement Information

Following assessment of expressions of interest in the PIN published on 16 May 2016, the Academy of Music and Sound has proven to be the only suitable supplier capable of delivering the services the Contract was awarded under Regulation 33 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 - Use of the Negotiated Procedure Without Prior Publication. Regulation 33 allows for award of a Public Contract without prior publication of a Contract Notice or prior information notice where "where no tenders, no suitable tenders, no requests to participate or no suitable requests to participate have been submitted in response to an open procedure or a restricted procedure" or "the services can be supplied only by a particular economic operator for technical reasons".
