Lot Information

Management, Development, Selling & Maintenance of Core advertising estate (Subway and Bus Stations )

Prime objective will be to maximise revenues from the core advertising estate (Subway and Bus Stations ) highlighting, developing and exploiting new revenue streams and generating new opportunities within these areas as well as examining all other modes non core eg. ticketing,vinyl wrapping etc. etc... SPT will require space for its own advertising and this will have to be factored into tender submissions.

Options: Supply of digital screens supply of Poster cases

Renewal: SPT will have an option of extending duration for a for a further 5 years

Large Format Advertising: Supply, Install, Management, Development, Selling & Maintenance of SPT Advertising Space and Infrastructure

The contracting authority has identified an initial two sites capable of displaying large format advertising and can potentially offer an indicative pipeline of eight or more future sites to be brought forward during the duration of the awarded contract. The maximum duration of the contract for lot 2 option 1 will be 5 years with an option to extend fo ra furhter 5 years. The maximum duration of the contract for Lot 2 option 2 will be determined on the basis of the time that the successful contractor / tenderer could reasonably be expected to install and recoup on the investment made in operating the contract together with a return on investment to SPT taking account of the initial two sites and future opportunities.. 1) This is a new opportunity to install and develop further advertising infrastructure. 2) No Duration set. The contract being determined on the basis of the time that the successful tenderer could reasonably be expected to install and recoup the investment made in operating the contract together with the return on investment to SPT.

Options: 1) Option 1 All infrastructure capital investment will be the responsibility of SPT. Ownership of all infrastructure and fittings will be retained by SPT. 2) OPtion 2 All infrastructure capital investment will be the responsibility of Contractor. Ownership of all infrastructure and fitting will be retained by the successful contractor for the duration of the contract. Ownership will then pass to SPT.

Renewal: Contract duration estimated as 5 years with options for longer duration, however tenderers can advise within their tender submission.

Tenderers should show a degree of flexibility associated with the Subway Modernisation and submit proposals at intervals/management meetings with SPT on how they plan to maintain or enhance revenue across the contract term.The tenderers should continuously aim to exploit advertising across SPT's estate and re-visit locations to ensure SPT develop space at the right times, in line with the UK market growth/trends. Contract Management Methodology: Please provide a concise/detailed methodology statement of how you intend to operate this contract commencing from the notification of your award, mobilisation, through to operational running of the contract including details of invoicing process. Management and Reporting: Provide details of the named contract manager, a statement of recent relevant experience which would demonstrate the person's suitability to contract manage this contract. Provide examples / samples of management and reporting tools to be provided as part of the service. Sample reports to include narrative to support revenue trends, projected revenue, revenue by location as well as asset type and also revenue detailed by client. Tenderers should report on where SPT's advertising performance sits on the overall UK market at frequent intervals each contract year. Key Issues & Risks- Identify key issues, risks and problems likely to be encountered and how these would be overcome, including any innovative solutions Maintenance Tenderers should state their plan to deliver a robust maintenance solution (for each lot tendered) aligned with scope requirements. Tenderers should demonstrate how the p[roposed maintenance strategy will be defined & developed over the lifecycle of the equipment and how obsolescence will be managed for the system equipment and software.Tenderers should also indicate response times.
