Notice Description
The Scottish Government's Housing, Regeneration and Welfare Directorate requires a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority to issue one or more bonds designed to provide loan finance to further the Scottish Government's social justice ambitions and generate donations to charities registered on the Scottish Charities Register.

The successful Contractor will issue and promote limited recourse bonds open for investment by Scottish Ministers at the indicative levels set out at Section 2.4 but which also allow for potential investment by other eligible organisations (such as Scottish Local Authorities, agencies of the SG etc., collectively known as "Subscribers") and which meet the description of a "charitable bond" provided in this specification (the "Bonds"). Upon the Bonds' maturing (following a fixed term of between five and ten years), Subscribers will receive back their full investment plus a rate of return.
