The University of Edinburgh wishes to appoint a Design Team to develop design proposals for the enhancement of Strathclyde Rowing Centre The University of Edinburgh wishes to appoint a Design Team to develop design proposals for a New Build Boat Store at Strathclyde Country Park. The project involves developing design proposals for the new build row boat storage facility complete with changing facilities and office space. Edinburgh University Boat Club (EUBC) currently utilises Strathclyde Park as its primary training base. The main impediment to this is capacity to store EUBC's boat fleet. The proposal is to build a dedicated University Boat-house at Strathclyde Park to double EUBC's storage capability along-side essential workshop, meeting and changing spaces. The project will also seek to review the building fabric and make any necessary rectification works to the existing roof, windows and stonework and drainage. Sustainable Procurement Duty The University will be requesting evidence from bidders, details of the Fair Work Practices they have in place.
