The City of Edinburgh Council are wishing to engage with potential suppliers to co produce Additional Support for Learning and Family Support Service. The Council are currently gathering information from stakeholders through questionnaires and focus group events. As part of the design process, the Council would like to invite all interested potential suppliers to a Market Awareness event to discuss the Service. The Council are seeking interest from suppliers who are able to provide some, part or all of the requirements. The purpose of the focus group event is to collate input from the supply market and wider stakeholders. Note: by submitting your interest you are agreeing to further engagement with the Council. The Council may decide to competitively tender this contract in the future.

A wide range of factors may lead to some children and young people having a need for additional support. These fall into four overlapping themes: learning environment, family circumstances including English as an Additional Language, disability or health need, and social and emotional factors. The City of Edinburgh Council wishes to engage with potential suppliers who work in close partnership with City of Edinburgh schools, psychological services, the additional support for learning service, social work and the NHS to provide packages of support that will achieve the best outcomes for children and young people..
