Each project will be tendered separately. 1.1 The programme of works - 4 projects Leverhulme Memorial School, Leverburgh, Isle of Harris Nature: Consolidation of facilities within the larger west block building with upgrading and condition improvements Proposals: Alteration, extension and remodelling comprising an extension to provide one pre-school classroom, together with creation of one additional classroom and ancillary spaces and general upgrading within existing accommodation. Car parking and site works improvements Estimated works value: GBP1.25 million Estimated construction period: May 2017 - March 2018 Laxdale School, Laxdale, Isle of Lewis Nature: Alteration and extension to provide two additional classrooms Proposals: Alteration and remodelling of the existing hall and dining accommodation to provide two additional classrooms with toilets and relocated dining facilities together with construction of a replacement steel framed hall extension Estimated works value: GBP0.8 million Estimated construction period: August 2017 - May 2018 Supported care and respite accommodation unit (Isle of Lewis - site unconfirmed) Nature: New building on greenfield/brownfield site Proposals: Construction of a new timber framed building comprising eight care and respite bedrooms with communal living spaces together with staff offices and sleeping accommodation. Associated site works, drainage and external services. Estimated works value: GBP1.75 million Estimated construction period: December 2017 - October 2018 Stornoway Primary School, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis Nature: Alteration and extension to provide two additional classrooms Proposals: Construction of a new timber framed extension to provide two new nursery classrooms, toilets and office space together with minor alteration within existing accommodation to provide a link corridor. Estimated works value: GBP0.65 million Estimated construction period: February 2018 - October 2018. Technical (Quality) and Commercial (price) aspects will be evaluated at the mini competition stage on a project by project basis. The ratio for these will be within the following ranges: Technical (Quality)- 10%-20% Commercial (Price)- 80%-90%
