Corporate Taxi Service
Notice Description
The Council require a corporate taxi contract to assist in its duty to meet the transportation needs of vulnerable people in the Council area. The vulnerable people who shall use the service may have one or more of the following special needs: moderate or severe learning difficulties; physical disabilities; mobility disabilities; emotional and behavioural difficulties; sensory impairment; medical needs.
Lot Information
Lot 1 North Council Area
The Service consists of the provision of Taxi Hire Services for identified people resident within East Ayrshire of a planned, urgent and emergency nature. In addition, the Service Provider is required to deliver escorted services and disabled access services. The service will be available for call-offs 365/366 days per year, 24 hours per day without exception. This lot will operate only in the North Council Area, further details are provided within the tender documents.
Renewal: 2 x 1 year aextensions
Lot 2 South Council AreaThe Service consists of the provision of Taxi Hire Services for identified people resident within East Ayrshire of a planned, urgent and emergency nature.
