Notice Description

This Framework Agreement is for the supply of Licensed and Unlicensed Compounded Neonatal Parenteral Nutrition to NHS Scotland. The Goods have been split into three (3) categories, each of which is identified as a "Lot". Full details of each Lot is contained in section II.2 of this notice.

Lot Information

Lipid Emulsion (SMOF or equivalent) (75ml) to include Solivito N (or equivalent) (5ml) and Vitlipid Infant (or equivalent) (20ml)

Supply of Unlicensed Compounded Lipid Emulsion (SMOF or equivalent)(75ml) to include Solivito N (or equivalent) (5ml) and Vitlipid Infant (or equivalent) (20ml) to NHS Scotland. The Authority intended to award a single -supplier framework for the Lot.

Renewal: Option to extend by two (2)further period of up to twelve (12) months upon giving not less than three (3) months written notice, such notice to expire no later than the date the framework agreement is due to expire.

Licensed Bags - Glucose 50%, Amino Acids 5.9% and Lipid 12.5% emulsion (Numeta or equivalent)

Supply of Licensed Bags containing Glucose 50%, Amino Acids 5.9% and Lipid 12.5% emulsion (Numeta or equivalent) in two (2) presentations to NHS Scotland. The Authority intended to award a single-supplier framework agreement for the Lot.

Renewal: Option to extend by two (2) further periods of up to twelve (12) months upon giving not less than three (3) months written notice, such notice to expire no later than the date the framework agreement is due to expire.

Unlicensed Bags - A range of Unlicensed Compounded Neonatal Parenteral Nutrition bags

Supply of four (4) Unlicensed Compounded Bags to NHS Scotland. The Authority intended to award a single-supplier framework agreement for the Lot. Descriptions: Scottish Neonatal PN Bag, 2.4g protein/100ml, 500ml bag for Peripheral or Central Use. Scottish Sodium-Free Neonatal PN Bag, 2.6g protein/100ml, 500ml bag for Peripheral or Central Use. Scottish Neonatal/Infant PN Bag, 3.1g protein/100ml, 1000ml bag for Central Line use Use only. Scottish Neonatal/Infant PN Bag, 3.5g protein/100ml, 500ml bag for Central Line Use only.

Renewal: Option to extend by two (2) further periods of up to twelve (12) months upon giving not less than three (3) months written notice, such notice to expire no later than the date the framework agreement is due to expire.
