Award of Low Carbon Energy Project Funding Options Study
Notice Description
The Scottish Enterprise Low Carbon Infrastructure Programme (LCIP) is designed to support the business community by bringing forward investor ready low carbon infrastructure projects in Scotland. LCIP is one part of the Scottish Government's broader Low Carbon Infrastructure Transition Programme. The key objectives of the LCIP are to stimulate investment in low carbon infrastructure, generating cost and carbon savings at a company level and make a significant contribution towards meeting climate change targets and increase employment in the low carbon sector. LCIP offers feasibility and business case support and funding to projects driven by the private sector and also "area based projects" where there is significant private sector input. Scottish Enterprise (SE) is supporting viable projects through to April 2018.SE now wish to vigorously test the investment methodology adopted to date within our business cases to ensure they are fully investor ready and also identify/match project finance funding options available in the market place to various low carbon project criteria. The range of project finance anticipated per project will be in the region of PS10M to PS20M.
