Notice Description

The Scottish Government requires to appoint a Contractor to provide assessment and related services to fill our staff vacancies. The SG have frequent internal post specific recruitment exercises open to promotees and those moving laterally as well as external recruitment campaigns. These can range from marine environment, engineers, medical, legal, inspectors and scientists to more mainstream management and administrative posts.

The Framework Agreement will be available for use by the following agencies: Scottish Government Core Directorates, Accountant In Bankruptcy, Disclosure Scotland, Education Scotland, National Records of Scotland, Office Of The Scottish Charity Regulator, Scottish Housing Regulator, Scottish Public Pensions Agency, Student Awards Agency For Scotland and Transport Scotland. The required services will include: - The provision of assessment exercises and related services to all business areas; - National coverage, with consistent levels of service for varied requirements as needed; - Working with business areas to ensure that best value for money is obtained in terms of the cost/suitability of assessment exercises; - Comprehensive management information at all stages in the process.. As a demand led service there is no guarantee of volume however the average annual spend for the predecessor to this framework over the past 3 years has been approximately 190k p/a. This figure is likely to fluctuate on a year by year basis.
