The site comprises a picnic area with a footpath retained by a harbour wall on the bank of the Forth River. At one location the timber piles and barge board, which comprise the harbour wall construction, have failed, causing a number of dry stone wall boulders to become dislodged into the river. There is also associated failure of the adjacent ground which was previously used as recreational space.
