Notice Description

Bidders must register interest in this contract opportunity through the Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) procurement portal - www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk. The Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation is available for download from there. Bidders should submit their full tender submissions through the secure postbox on Public Contracts Scotland no later than the stated deadline. It is the responsibility of bidders to ensure submissions are received before the deadline. The works involve the pumping of standing water at Roseangle and Seabraes Yards Site westward to the Digital Media Park and will require the following: 1. 1 x 3 inch pump to pump from the garden of No. 28 Roseangle to the sump on Seabraes Yards 2. 1 x 6 inch pump to pump from the Seabraes Yards sump to the gravel platform to the east of the site, within the Digital Media Park. The works include hire of pumps, pipework, delivery, refuelling and an operative to run the pumps. The duration of works is 4 months. The works should be appropriately resourced to allow regular monitoring and pumping carried out as necessary to ensure the gardens of Roseangle and the former railyards site should remain free from standing water. An allowance should be made to clear silt from the existing on site sumps as required. Scottish Enterprise reserves the right to take forward an additional 4 months extension period to this contract at its sole discretion. Due to the value and assessed risk associated with this commission, suppliers will be required to demonstrate a minimum average turnover of GBP240,000 over the last two years for which accounts/financial statements are available. Options: The contract will be let for an initial period of 4 months, with SE retaining the option to extend by up to a further 4 months.
Renewal: SE are including an optional extension of 4 months.
