Notice Description

Tenders were invited under the competitive selection procedure of the Scotland Excel Framework for Asbestos Survey, Removal & Disposal and Analytical Services Ref: 11-14 for a proposed Work Package.The school building as identified on attached drawing is to undergo ceiling & lighting replacements. This contract involves the stripping out, removal and disposal of light fittings, suspended ceilings, MMMF insulation. Old fibreboard (with asbestos paper to the face) ceiling tiles and contaminated timber framework from the ceiling void, in compliance with HSG 247 The Licensed Contactors Guide and HSG 210 Asbestos Essentials for the works.Removal works will be completed in 2 phases, school Summer Holidays, commencing Monday 10th July and being completed Friday 14th July consecutively and October Holidays commencing 9th October.
