The council reserves the right not to award any contract as a result of the procurement process initiated by this Contract Notice and in such event will not be liable for any costs incurred by any party. . NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Public Contracts Scotland Web Site at http://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=498079. The Contracting Authority does not intend to include a sub-contract clause as part of community benefits (as per Section 25 of the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014) in this contract for the following reason: The Contract Notice is an aggregation of approximately 100 individual contract lots, all of which are relatively small value. In the main, the majority of lots are awarded to individual self-employed drivers and sub-contract clause is not deemed necessary for the nature of the service and lot structure. The Contracting Authority does not intend to include any community benefit requirements in this contract for the following reason: The overall Contract Notice is for an aggregation of approximately 100 individual Lots. Each individual lot is relatively small value and in the main a high proportion of Lots are awarded to micro-business and self-employed drivers. There are no specific community benefits clause associated to the award of these lots.
