Notice Description
ECIS (Electric Cell Substrate Impedence Sensing) a real-time, label-free, impedance-based method to study the activities of cells grown in tissue culture. These include morphological changes, cell locomotion, and other behaviors directed by the cell's cytoskeleton.

Under Regulation Reg 6(1)(b)(ii) of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016, a contracting authority may award a contract without competition based on following justification: Where the supplies or services can be supplied only by a particular supplier for any of the following reasons: Competition is absent for technical reasons (only if it is not caused by artificial narrowing down of the parameters of the procurement and no reasonable alternative or substitute exists). The intention of this NCA is to cover an initial loan period of 3 months and any subsequent purchase. The value quoted is the sum of the loan plus the potential purchase which could exceed the 50k GBP threshold.
