Clyde Valley Housing Association was established in April 1996 and is a Registered Social Landlord and Charity. CVHA currently own and manage 3,400 properties. Since 1998 CVHA have established a strong new build programme and have have invested around GBP 250,000,000 in new build projects. We have strong aspirations to increase our stock and are looking for developer / contractor that have sites identified, under legal control or ownership and who could then build out properties. Our areas of operation are East Dunbartonshire Council, North Lanarkshire Council and South Lanarkshire Council areas. The purpose of this notice is to identify sites and partners. CVHA will not determine which sites are to be built out. CVHA will use the returns from this process to submit information to the respective Councils for their SHIP process. CVHA will initially assess the submisisons based on the following information:- -Location of proposed site in relation to Councils strategic priorities; -Amenity of the proposed site; -Density of the proposed site; -Proposed property types; -Planning Status of the proposed site; -Statement regarding Site Investigation; -Statement regarding Scottish Water Capacity; -Likely hood of delivery against Scottish Government subsidy funding regime; -Legal position regarding the control of the site; -Track record of the developer/contractor/partner Ultimately the respective Councils will determine which, if any, sites are to be included into the SHIP process. All parties should be aware that if a site is included in the SHIP document by the respective Council it does not guarantee that CVHA will enter into Design & Build Contract.
