Lot 1
The objective of this procurement process is to appoint a single contractor to install door entry systems, gates/doors and weather screens to Maisonette blocks. This will be a two stage restricted procurement process.. Economic Operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8, 9 and 10 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regultions 2016. "description": "Applicants must pass the minimum standards sections of the ESPD which is a Pass on each and every Pass/Fail question and a minimum mark of 2 out of 4 for each and every scored question. The applicants who achieve the minimum standards will be selected for tender stage on the basis of highest scores. A maximum of 5 applicants will be selected to tender stage, but the Association will use it's discretion if there are closely tied applicants. In the event there are closely tied applicants the maximum number of applicants selected for tender stage can be increased to 7. The scoring criteria for Part IV Section C of the ESPD (Scotland) weighted questions is set out below: 0- Unacceptable. Nil or adequate response. In addition to this bidders are required to provide a further full response on a separate document. The full response to include the project name, description of the project, Client Name, contact details, including phone number and email, contract sum, start and completion dates. The response should also include the bidder's specific role in the project. This involves providing details of their workforce, skills, qualifications and experience and their procedure for ensuring quality control along with any external organisations that the company uses to measure quality control. 4C.4-Bidders will be required to confirm that they have (or have access to) the relevant supply chain management and tracking systems used by them to deliver this project. Bidders will be required to provide details of how they appoint, manage and monitor subcontractors and suppliers. 4C.6-Bidders will be required to confirm that they have the following relevant educational and professional qualifications: The organisation must be a member of SELECT or equivalent, CHAS or equivalent and have the necessary skills and experience to successfully complete the contract.
