Fife Council recognises a statutory duty to provide an Eyecare service in accordance with Regulation 5 of the (Health and Safety) Display Screen Equipment Regulations (Statutory Instrument 1992 No. 2792 as amended) for those Employees identified as Display Screen Users. A contract for the Provision of an Eyecare Service (Provision of full eye examination and (where appropriate) of special corrective appliances) in accordance with the requirements of Regulation 5 of the Health & Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 (Statutory Instrument 1992 No. 2792 as amended).
