The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) have identified that the ventilation in two areas at HMP Glenochil do not comply with relevant legislation and this project provides for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of enhanced ventilation to the areas

The SPS requires a Mechanical Contractor to provide the following services at HMP Glenochil: Provision of a replacement mechanical ventilation system to the Reducing Re-offending Unit (RRU) to provide airflow rates in compliance with The Building (Scotland Regulations) 2004 and CIBSE Guide A. The RRU consists of five offices, one classroom and three WC's. Provision of enhanced natural ventilation to two boiler rooms in accordance with IGEM UP/10 and BS6644: 2011 and subsequent ventilation risk assessment and system design verification notice (By a Gas Safe Competent Person).
